  thoroughly impressive all the way from start to finish. i have to admit this; i read through the press kit and pulled the old stereotyping crime based on nothing more than a visual impression. i had green & checkers figured for your standard rock band. i was wrong, as is often the case when your eyes rule your head.

  what a blast of listening refreshment this music is. with a genre defying style all their own, green & checkers have compiled a set of songs ranging from blues to lou reed style spoken/sung fun, to a modern, driving spoken rock, especially on the first song pack of winstons, an excellent standout.

  i can't describe the music, all i can say is that everyone must listen to this cd and experience the talent, excellent song writing ability, agility in style and musical experience. innovation doesn't always come with youth as the music veterans in green & checkers show us. very highly recommended.
