This Way Out brings together Trip Record's group of eclectic artists in this wild compilation. The genres represented here embrace almost every musical audience, including alternative rock, adult contemporary, dance, pop and punk. Some artists featured on the compilation will bw releasing solo albums on Trip Records during the next six months.

The artists on This Way Out are openly gay or lesbian, and have recorded material specifically to speak to the often neglected, and increasingly lucrative, gay & lesbian market. Heavy emphasis will be placed on garnering editorial features for This Way Out on gay and lesbian radio, television and print media. Brisk sales are anticipated in New York, San Francisco, Atlanta and San Antonio.

Advance 12" vinyl of two of the singles from This Way Out, Give Me More and Drag Queen are currently getting nationwide club and public & college radio rotation. This Way Out should also serve as a good teaser for the ensuing solo albums.

DJ's and club-kids delighted in the 12" release Let's Go Dancin', which scored Wayne Numan his third "Billboard" review. Boffo Santana-Jones' industrial dance bash Give Me More took raves from "Dance Music Report" (DMR). John-Fredrick's Drag Queen landed in New York's Top Ten in national "Street Sound" and grabbed a page of "In Touch" magazine (issue 209). Grunge Group Special Head's frequent Mid-Atlantic appearances and twin 7" vinyl releases keep the buzz going regionally, and won them a mention in a recent volume of "Spin".

Producer Davis' works have been reviewed in "Billboard", "Chart Beat", "Dance Music Report" and "Rockpool" in recent years. Davis produces Trip artists Boffo Santana-Jones, John-Fredrick, Christian Johnson and Wayne Numan, former Pow Wow artist Ampersand (whose Traction climed up the "Billboard" Hot Dance chart for 17 weeks), and produced remixes for F Neo Subculture artist Technoid, whose video received MTV "120-Minutes" rotation.
