Release Form for Sibilance Submissions
Rights
Regarding the musical/literary work entitled [title], by [you],
you grant to Trip Records the following rights:
(Author initial all that apply)
- __ to incorporate all or part of the work into the periodical audio-magazine "Sibilance"
- __ to publish sound and text excerpts of the work on the Internet in connection with the "Sibilance" World Wide Web 'pages'.
- __ to re-print all or part of the lyrics, libretto or other textual/pictoral components of the work in "Sibilance" liner notes or printed tie-in materials.
- __ to use the author's name(s) (or alias under which the work was authored) in connection with packaging advertising or promotion of the "Sibilance" periodical.
- __ to print photograhs of the author in connection with packaging, advertising or promotion of "Sibilance"
Terms
- These rights are granted non-exclusively to Trip - you're not asked to refrain
from using the recordings for your other projects or purposes.
- This is valid for one year.
- You agree to grant these rights to Trip free of charge.
Just so you know...
Since the nature of "Sibilance" is that of a audio-collage CD of contributors' recorded works, you agree that it is acceptable for Trip to edit, excerpt, overlay with other works, and to adjust sound levels and equalisation so as to be technically acceptable for manufacturing of CDs, and consistant with the editors' policy for works incorporated into "Sibilance."
If the recording of the work is done or paid for by Trip, then Trip shall retain the copyright to that sound recording of the work.
This is not a promise to publish your work. Trip may elect not to exercise the rights you're granting in this release.
Indemnification.
You will take the heat of you infringe someone's copyright or do other bad stuff that gets people in trouble in
your composition or the recording of it.
