    Queer Nasty, though published by Baby Rhino Press, is not affiliated with any organization. We are a very loose and ever-shifting conglomerate of individuals who contribute our ideas, articles, and inspirations. We are fed up with the double standards in our own communities, and try to point out these flaws and their blatant stupidity and offer caring, helpful suggestions. Most importantly, since "radical" voices have always been edited and censored, we believe in Queer Nasty as the only way our ideas can reach others and benefit all.
    It is our sincere hope that the many voices presented therein will contribute positively toward the remaking of our Queer World.

    Queer Nasty is devoted to ending homophobia, Queer-phobia, Bi-phobia, and Tranny-phobia within the so-called "Gay" community. We are also dedicated to ending other oppressions that relate to such issues as: race, ethnic background, gender, size, disabilities, age, HIV status and any other areas where injustices occur.
    We hope to accomplish this by accepting all articles which relate to these issues and present the kind of intelligent, enlightening discussion that would not be presented in the average mainstream assimilationist publication.

    Queer Nasty is currently on a publishing hiatus, but we hope to soon return to the paper world. When active, we love for people to submit to us. Payment is in hard copies only (we send you copies of the issue your work is in).
    All articles are accepted on a space-available basis. We reserve the right to edit materials for space or content, including, but never, ever limited to: racist, sexist, ageist, weightist, classist, or homophobic statements, attitudes, or passages. But, if you've read pretty much anything on this website, you'll realize we're not likely to balk at or supress anything. And we respect the artist's/ author's styles and rights, so we're not gonna plagiarize or torture your work in any way.
    Because the contents of Queer Nasty may be offensive or intimidating to many people (we like that), anonymity is respected.

    The world is plagued by commercialistic crap. We hate it. We want to say what's on our minds without flooding our pages with annoying ads for stupid products which do no one any good. So don't ask. And if you don't understand this policy, you're a part of the problem.
    We do, however, print a few plugs for products and or companies which we deem worthwhile. This is usually for other zines, indie music, small Queer companies and the like, and often for trade or barter. We do not accept money for this, so we are not controlled by it.
